Construction Manager

Main Duties:

  1. Define the construction systems, including P&ID's, electrical single line diagrams, and related documents.
  2. Maintain an agreed detailed reporting system in accordance with project requirements.
  3. Maintain an effective filing and records retrieval system.
  4. Examine, understand, and manage construction budgets.
  5. Ensure that construction requirements are accurately quantified and incorporated into project budgets and planning systems, with updates as necessary.
  6. Ensure that the interfaces between engineering and procurement deliverables are logically sequenced to support commissioning and start-up.
  7. Ensure all staff and contractors understand and implement Arcadis HSES and quality policies.
  8. Lead and manage the Arcadis Construction Management team.
  9. Manage the work of contractors involved in the project.
  10. Foster a collaborative relationship between the client team and Arcadis CMT.
  11. Conduct constructability reviews focusing on logistics, HSES, quality, contract strategy, work packages, schedule, and risk; produce reports to support project goals.
  12. Generate project-specific construction management plans using Arcadis templates.
  13. Ensure project objectives related to HSES, quality, cost, and schedule are achieved.
  14. Establish and maintain effective communication between construction sites and home office teams.

Summary:

  • Retrofit project with a Biopharma client in south Dublin area.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall lead Construction Manager experience required.
  • Experience managing projects in a live biotech/pharma environment is essential.
