We are recruiting for a goals oriented and dynamic Spa Operations Manager at the Spa at Ashford Castle, Ireland's first Forbes 5-star resort property. The successful candidate will support the Director of Spa and Wellness in the operational running of the Spa & Salon experience, with attention to the service and product inventory at The Spa at Ashford Castle.

Ashford Castle is Ireland's only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel & Spa, a iconic heritage property with a world-class spa and dedicated team. The role is operations focused with accountability for running the spa day to day.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the exceptional guest service delivery of a Forbes 5-star hotel.
  • Manage our people and performance to a 5-star standard.
  • Focus on team development and training.
  • Manage sales, budgets and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure efficient communications.
Key Responsibilities of the Spa Operations Supervisor include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure the team provides each guest with the highest levels of personal care and attention in accordance with 5-star expectations and the Red Carnation and Forbes 5-star standards.
  • Conduct 1-1 meetings and appraisals with team members as scheduled.
  • Initiate thoughtful touches to exceed guest expectations.
  • Provide efficient and professional service, staff training, motivation, standards and controls; comply with Red Carnation Top 12 Service Standards, terms and conditions of employment, and operational practices.
  • Interviewing and hiring employees with the appropriate skills to meet business needs.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in spa operations management or equivalent leadership role in a luxury service environment.
  • Strong leadership, team development and training skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, sales and marketing strategies; strong communication skills.
  • Interviewing and hiring experience for roles in a hospitality operation.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
