Main Purpose of the Job

Biosynth Biologics Division in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented science graduate to join our team as a Sales Account Manager. The role will initially be for six months, leading to a full-time contract for the successful candidate. This is an office-based role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and growing existing accounts as well as developing new prospect accounts.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Key objective is to help grow the Biologics Division business according to company targets.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through provision of product information/quotations and pursuit of purchase orders and supply agreements where appropriate.
  • Develop and manage new accounts.
  • Liaise with supply partners, including pricing negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Research new products and identify potential supply partners and markets.
  • Liaise with the order processing team to ensure all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records using CRM.
  • Provide customers with after-sales support, including technical support when required.
  • Stay updated on company products, policies, and procedures to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Handle sales-related administration, e.g., raising product codes, lot numbers, and liaising with the QC team to generate product datasheets and certificates of analysis.
  • Support senior sales team members as required.
  • Adhere to company procedures as defined by its ISO 13485 system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a life sciences field is required.
  • Additional education or experience in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, systematic, and precise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge related to the diagnostics or life sciences industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar software for order management is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience with CRM and M-Files software is beneficial but not essential.
