The Ireland Investor AML Operations team supports all aspects of AML for investors in line with applicable legislation, regulations, and best practice. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with the Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments and other key stakeholders to deliver a robust AML service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior staff
- Review the work of others and develop training plans
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to AML requirements for investors
- Review procedural requirements and recommend changes where applicable
- Develop training materials and lead training within the department
- Interact with committees and/or Senior Management as required
- Resolve problems, identify solutions, and establish new techniques to meet objectives
- Impact the quality of tasks and services provided by the team
Skills / Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with partners
- Technical skills/systems knowledge (e.g., Microsoft and Peoplesoft) preferred
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations through education or experience; Irish, UK, or Cayman regulations desirable
- Analytical and communication skills to analyse and summarise information
- Leadership and organisational skills to prioritise, provide feedback, and coordinate compliance activities
- Understanding of how duties relate to others in the team and organisation integrations
- Day-to-day supervision of a team, including coaching, coordinating activities, and monitoring quality
- Knowledge of AML, CIP, EDD, and KYC regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
