Job DescriptionThe Transfer Agency Analyst will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of AML operations workload allocated daily. This includes reviewing investor documentation, adhering to our AML policy and procedures, and participating in AML operations review.
- The role involves working with colleagues and line management to review investor documentation and source outstanding due diligence documentation efficiently and professionally.
- The analyst must be aware of adverse media on investor accounts and identify high-risk factors linked to accounts, such as the involvement of politically exposed persons (PEPs).
- Critical issues and complex problems will be escalated to the Investor AML Operations team, as well as those received from internal and/or external parties.
- The analyst must ensure all queries from internal and external parties are dealt with efficiently and professionally, with support from line management where required.
- The Investor AML team must meet audit, risk, and compliance standards, determined by changes in legislation and guidance.
- The analyst must maintain an up-to-date knowledge of AML regulation and best practice to promote enhancements to our AML processes and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include performing additional work when volume or absence requires it.
