Overview

Join to apply for the Social Care Worker role at Orchard Care Group. We are expanding to provide additional services in our Orchard Residential Care division in our new service in Co. Cavan. We welcome applications from enthusiastic social care workers who want to support young people who cannot live with their families and who are referred to our service by Tusla. We provide extensive training in our model of care and access to a multidisciplinary team that provides therapeutic support to the young people.

Responsibilities
  • Engage in daily activities and routines, providing dedicated direct support to the people we care for
  • Contribute to their development, health and wellbeing
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that provides therapeutic support to the young people
  • Participate in training to learn our model of care and ongoing professional development
  • Working on a shift rota to support service delivery
Essential Requirements
  • Qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU
  • Full manual driving licence with eligibility to drive in Ireland
  • Full eligibility and availability to work with us
