• Ensure thorough MRP management, review and execution of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, vendor scheduling, inventory reporting and inventory positioning.
• Manage assigned purchasing categories, including category analysis, creation of schedule agreements, PO conversion, and management of vendor queries.
• Develop and maintain best practice systems and procedures, coordinating and efficiently operating relevant aspects of the site's supply chain processes in line with corporate guidelines and best material management/ procurement practices.
• Coordinate team members in terms of recruitment, integration, training needs and performance management in accordance with the company's HR policies, to align and motivate towards Hovione's goals and culture.
• Ensure other departments are trained on purchasing guidelines and SAP/MASQ approval processes.
• Work closely with other supply chain personnel and key departments across the Group (HSE, Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Services and Engineering) to ensure high levels of customer service; at site level, work with corporate purchasing to meet site needs and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Liaise with internal customers to prepare weekly and annual purchasing and shipping schedules and ensure targets are met.
• Monitor production plans/performance weekly and realign to ensure purchasing strategy supports production and project targets.
• Develop and report on KPIs for cost savings and continuous improvement where relevant.
• Manage and rightsize the supplier base to achieve the Purchasing business plan objectives in terms of financial performance, supplier quality, supply chain efficiency, security and sustainability.
• Support daily purchasing activities for all relevant Hovione sites to accomplish company objectives; implement the Purchasing business plan at an operational level, including supplier identification, interaction, negotiation and delivery terms definition, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience in complex and competitive industries, preferably in large corporations
• SAP experience is mandatory
• 3+ years managing team members
• Experience in procurement management on a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant (preferred)
• Experience in leading others in project contexts
• Possess solid knowledge of procurement management principles and practices
• Fluency in English is required
