Overview

Heritage Homecare is a dynamic Homecare company providing quality homecare to elderly people in their homes in South Dublin. Our clients need live in carers who can provide companionship and light assistance with meals and exercise, or sometimes more specialised care like dementia care and end of life care. We provide hourly visits, block hours, live in, overnights and full-time care to our clients. Central to the delivery of our services is the knowledge that it is our dedicated and professional carers who represent us. With two locally based offices we have friendly and helpful office teams, led by Nurse Care Managers, and a positive respected reputation in the homecare industry. Hours of work
  • Upcoming live-in work in Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock and surrounding areas
  • Regular clients - no changes without notice

Ideally you will have
  • A genuine desire to work supporting elderly people in their homes.
  • Experience working as a Carer for at least 6-12 months.
  • Genuine affinity for vulnerable elderly people.
  • A mature and professional manner.
  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare modules x 2, or equivalent, or willingness to obtain same.
  • A related healthcare specialty - e.g. Student Nurses, OT's, Physios.
  • Driving License with own car or bike or be travel savvy.
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills.
