Job Description:

What you get to do in this role:

In this role, you will support and troubleshoot integrations and automation within the ServiceNow platform. This includes diagnosing and resolving issues related to data flows, API integrations (REST and SOAP), and workflow automation. You will support the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy and integrity, troubleshooting CMDB issues, and maintaining a reliable source of truth for IT infrastructure. Your expertise will enable seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other systems, optimize operations through automation, and support IT service management by maintaining asset and relationship mapping.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise (3+ Years):

  • Understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB frameworks.
  • Skilled in web services development and consumption (SOAP, REST).
  • Proficient with relational databases like MySQL and Oracle.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC.
  • Developed automated integrations between systems.

Programming & Development:

  • Experience developing applications using JavaScript.
  • Ability to understand Java and JavaScript code.

Networking & Systems:

  • Knowledge of networking concepts and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.

Customer Support & Communication:

  • Experience in technical support roles (advantageous).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical solutions.
  • Ability to convey technical processes to diverse audiences.
