Job Description

This is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract role and is based in Dublin.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our UKI Talent Solutions Team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Account Executives as well as leading key activities across the UKI and EMEA SMB Team overall.

The Objectives for the UKI team are 1) Exceed Quota, 2) Deliver our SMB Org's Foundations & Operating Priorities, and 3) Set the team up for future success.

The purpose of this role is to accelerate the growth of the overall UK&I CoE corporate acquisition business. To accelerate the growth of the team, this person will:

  • Drive deals by joining customer meetings.
  • Improve the UKI teams' sales skills through feedback, coaching, and performance management.
  • Create a culture grounded in DIB's, psychological safety, and operational excellence.
  • Be an inspiring leader able to lead through change, set high standards, and nurture growth mindsets.
  • Apply business acumen and innovation to challenges and opportunities.

Although you strive for all your team to meet and exceed quota, you will always act in the best interest of every client.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the Go-To-Market Planning for the region.
  • Set a compelling vision that aligns and inspires the team.
  • Lead a high performing and predictable business through driving prospecting and pipeline building activities across the team.
  • Have impactful team meetings and one-to-ones that help each team member to exceed their quota.
  • Coaching each team member on sales competencies to develop their skills and transform their careers.
  • Help to close key deals by supporting the team in meetings with senior executives.
  • Deliver reliable and accurate forecasts through CRM hygiene and deal reviews.
  • Be a key member of the UKI leadership team by developing and scaling best practices.
  • Listen to the needs of the market, keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity, and share insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it's outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives.
  • Be an evangelist of our Learning and Engagement products and maintain deep product knowledge.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a quota carrying role.
  • Experience in a sales management or team lead position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of SaaS within the HR function.
  • Has invested in their leadership skills in DIB's and/or psychological safety.
  • Experience in inspiring leadership with the ability to lead through change.
