Job Description

Direct Medics are partnering with a client in Mullingar to find an experienced and dedicated Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist who will provide a comprehensive specialist acute adult speech therapy service. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute setting, including assessment and intervention for adult inpatients. This is a temporary position for 3 months with full-time hours (35 hours per week).

Locum roles with Direct Medics offer earning potential and the opportunity to work with professional Speech & Language Therapy teams.

Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered as an SLT with CORU
  • Certification and competence in managing dysphagia/feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing disorders
  • Previous experience in an acute service is desirable; applications from new graduates with recent hospital clinical placements will be considered
  • Full UK/ROI Driver's Licence and access to a car on appointment
  • Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
