Forget-me-not Preschool & Afterschool is a new, play-based childcare service opening in January 2026. We believe relationships are at the heart of learning, and we are dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing and creative environment for children. We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic people to join our team from the very beginning

Role Responsibilities

Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum.
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 6+ desirable).
A genuine passion for working with young children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Garda vetting required.
First Aid, Child Protection, and Manual Handling training desirable (training can be arranged).
