About The RoleIf you are passionate about energy and want to support a secure and sustainable energy transition, this role could be for you. Our Policy and Regulation Team represents and promotes the interests of Energia Group with policy makers, regulators, government bodies, system operators and trade associations across Renewables, Flexible Generation and Customer Solutions businesses.
This opportunity offers the chance to start or further develop a career in the energy industry, build knowledge of energy markets, regulation and policy, and advocate for changes that shape the energy markets of the future. The ideal candidate is commercially focused, well-organised, proactive, curious, a self-starter with high attention to detail, and an excellent communicator.
About You- At least 3 years of experience in a policy, economics, legal or advocacy role, with a third-level degree and a minimum 2.1 result and/or a masters in a discipline involving cogent logical argumentation.
- Excellent IT skills with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, ability to persuade and influence, and analytical excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team, with a proactive approach to adding value.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to cope with a changing workload and meet external deadlines.
