Reporting to the Inventory & Supplier Manager, the successful candidate will perform regular reviews of stock movement and arrange replenishment through purchase or repair , perform regular review of excess/non-moving inventory and agree disposal/ otherwise , assist in maintenance of data key to procurement & planning functionality, interface regularly with the Planning & engineering departments regarding planned maintenance and participate in Supplier management / quarterly review sessions with key Suppliers.

The M&E Department is responsible for maintaining the Airline's fleet of aircraft in a serviceable and safe condition whilst ensuring that the fleet availability meets the on time departure targets throughout the entire network. We're the section within the M&E Department that ensures a steady supply of planned materials to meet the operational demands of all the aircraft maintenance activities, whilst optimising the investment required to meet such supply demands. Inventory and data management are key components of the role.

Your responsibilities as an Inventory Supplier & Data Management Specialist will include:

  • Maintain Inventory as required to support all Check Maintenance and Line requirements andreview, manage and release advance stock order requirements in support of all planned maintenance, line and heavy maintenance. This will include high cost investment related to modification kitting and service bulletin material acquisition.
  • Review, manage and release repair order requirements to meet repairable and rotable stock holding demands and adjust settings in advance re order proposal to cater for future likely material demands or changing scenarios to avoid unnecessary stock build up.
  • Daily check on part admin data & rotable admin update – ensuring critical data elements added accurately – such as Part Type data associated with obsolescence calculation.
  • Assist Inventory Manager in review & follow on sourcing of rotables and expendables required in support of new or leased aircraft arrivals.
  • Ensure adequate supply of required essential components & consumables – whilst maintaining major focus on cost avoidance.
  • Monthly reporting on C&E (Consumable) Inventory, C&E Excess/Surplus identification, Rotable Inventory, Quarterly Rotable excess & deficiency), Inventory Turn calculation – in alignment with Inventory manager.
  • Assist Inventory manager in organising regular monthly & quarterly review activity with key Supplier interface units; Chase regular reporting, performance adherence & remedies rewards for the company as opportunities present themselves.
  • Review and action all Invoice related activity arising from order release within the section.
  • Provide support as required to the Inventory & Supplier manager , the materials Operations manager , & the Materials manager & display flexibility & commitment in regard to supportingthe Materials department.
Your qualifications and key criteria

We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:

  • Fully literate in all MS Office applications including Excel (High Level of Proficiency), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Specific Inventory management, buying and supplier management awareness and experience would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Rotable and Consumable supply and Demand challenges.
  • Strong mathematical & numerical competency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Proven decision-making skills with the ability to make timely, clear-cut, well informed evaluated decisions.
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to deliver and drive change.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU *.
  • Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
  • Able to pass a 5-year security background check*(or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in Dublin.
