Job Specification

Due to ongoing growth and expansion ESS have an opportunity for a Training & Project Coordinator to join our passionate team in Limerick. Seeking an organised, people-focused, quality-driven individual, ready to help deliver excellence in training and projects.

As a Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, contributing to the overall operational excellence of our projects across a multi-functional team.

Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where learning is part of everyday life, within our high-performance work team. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, logical thinking, proactive problem-solving with excellent collaboration skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement & Learner Applications: Process & respond to training leads and enquiries, resolving in a professional and timely manner, supporting the learner throughout their course lifecycle from onboarding to certification.
  • Project Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of training programmes, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate documentation, including program design, delivery, and assessment.
  • Provide project support cross-functionally as needed to support client and internal objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders, including clients, learners, and tutors.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to the Team.
  • Resource Management: Support the maintenance of a varied tutor panel, ensuring the right people are in place for program delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Training Team to ensure the team's goals align with the overall objectives of the business.
  • Collaborate with team members to address project challenges and ensure a collaborative working environment.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with requirements and standards of excellence throughout the project lifecycle, including processing learner applications, documentation control, documentation management and tracking/reporting.
  • Programme Development: Work collaboratively with programme development stakeholders, challenging current thinking, driving innovation and leading out in the development of courses and content.
Education & Experience
  • Relevant Bachelors Degree in Business or similar discipline.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a similar customer service, scheduling or project management role
  • FE/HE Programme development experience is desired.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills to effectively navigate challenges, resolve disputes, and drive positive outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, consistent work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full clean drivers license.
