The job: Business Development Manager - South Korea

*About the Role:*

Join a dynamic international team at the forefront of attracting cutting-edge global investment. This high-impact role focuses on securing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from *South Korea's leading companies* in key sectors like:

You'll be the strategic link between *innovative Korean corporations* and Ireland's thriving business ecosystem, working directly with *C-suite executives* to shape investment decisions that fuel economic growth.

Based in *Seoul*, you'll report to the Director for Japan & Korea and collaborate with a global team to position Ireland as the premier destination for high-value investment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- *Identify & Engage:* Target high-potential Korean companies and build a robust pipeline of FDI opportunities aligned with strategic goals.

- *Build Influence:* Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives, delivering persuasive pitches on Ireland's competitive advantages.

- *Drive Commitments:* Secure company visits to Ireland and guide prospects through site evaluations and post-approval implementation.

- *Market Intelligence:* Leverage deep sector expertise to tailor Ireland's value proposition for the Korean market.

- *Strategic Collaboration:* Partner with global teams to design impactful marketing initiatives and support high-level delegations.

*Who You Are:*

*A Proven Deal-Maker:* 7+ years in *B2B enterprise sales, business development, or FDI* with a track record of closing high-stakes deals.

*Bilingual & Culturally Savvy:* Fluent in *Korean and English*, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations and bridge business cultures.

*A Master Networker:* Skilled at engaging C-level decision-makers and building long-term strategic partnerships.

*A Dynamic Communicator:* Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to articulate compelling business cases.

*Adaptable & Driven:* Thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a solutions-oriented mindset.

*Bonus Qualifications:*

- Experience in *tech, biotech, finance, or sustainability sectors*.

- Familiarity with *digital marketing tools* for lead generation.
