We are hiring a General Manager in Dublin to help shape the Staycity guest journey. This role will manage two properties: Staycity Christchurch (35 keys) and Staycity Dublin Castle (50 keys), within walking distance of each other.

Responsibilities
  • Support all HODs in all aspects of running the property, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales and revenue
  • Ensure departments operate within Staycity Group brand SOPs and address feedback promptly
  • Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against goals; provide on-the-job training, performance appraisals, one-on-one discussions, and team meetings
  • Produce revenue and cost forecasts, monitor budgets, and communicate shortfalls to the Executive Office when necessary
  • Ensure hotel compliance with legislation, H&S, and Staycity Group requirements
  • Deliver department-specific training plans to enhance skills aligned with strategic goals
  • Cultivate cross-department collaboration and effective teamwork
  • Monitor guest satisfaction feedback and resolve disputes professionally within guidelines
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience and 3+ years in a similar level role, with significant hotel or aparthotel sector experience
  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue through strategic commercial initiatives
  • Humility, approachability, and ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Forward-thinking and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Self-motivated, able to inspire and lead the team
  • Energetic, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt effectively
  • Experience engaging in strategic business discussions at a high level
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and support the team to deliver world-class results
  • Experience providing training, guidance, and support to all teams and driving the culture
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
