Overview

The Harcourt Hotel is seeking an experienced Full time NIGHT PORTER to join our team. The Night Porter position is a very hands on job that requires leading a team of night Porters on a busy site. Duties include nightly tasks and duties, setting up functions and meeting rooms, and ensuring the safety/security of the premises and guests, in addition to completing the night audit function at the hotel.

Location: Dublin, Ireland. This is a full-time & permanent role with an immediate start (September 2025).

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of night porters on a busy site
  • Perform nightly tasks and duties
  • Set up functions and meeting rooms
  • Ensure the safety and security of premises and guests
  • Complete the night audit function at the hotel
  • Provide a high standard of customer service and professional conduct
Qualifications
  • Friendly & outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership abilities and a very high standard of personal presentation
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in a hotel environment as a Night Supervisor, Senior Porter, or similar role is essential
  • A full driving licence would be beneficial
