We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join our team here in Shannon

The qualified candidate is responsible for day-to-day receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders from stock, packing and shipping domestic and international orders with all shipping methods HID currently uses or might use in the future.

You will act as the primary contact for all shipping and receiving activities across departments, while also carrying out any additional procedures necessary to support the achievement of operational KPIs.

As our Warehouse Operator, you'll support HID's success by:

• Must comply with SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
• Be held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Accuracy, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Main point of contact for shipping inquiries for internal customers.
• Work collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
• Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.
• Proactively log and escalate potential issues to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and/or operational inefficiencies.
• Participate in root cause, corrective/preventive action activities as required.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying the correct parts, quantities and serial numbers requested by customers.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
• Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and pull the right products for each order.
• Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas manually or using equipment such as forklifts.
• Ensure the highest levels of accuracy in Oracle and shipping software transactions.

Your Experience and Background include:

• Minimum 3 years of International and complex shipping experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Warehouse and Picking operations experience.
• Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
• Ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
• Ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment
• Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success
• Familiar with Trade compliance policies for international shipments.
• Proficient with MS Office, Acrobat Reader, and PDF editors; advanced MS Excel is preferred.
• Proficient with operating systems, such as Windows.
• Proficient with shipping software such as Fedex Manager, UPS WorldShip, DHL or any other carrier or Freight Forwarder.
