Commercial Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the company, ensuring that all processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance commercial operational performance, drive growth, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize commercial performance and support the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue to ensure accurate reporting and resource allocation.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of commercial initiatives and drive accountability across teams.
- Oversee contract management, pricing strategies, and negotiations to maximize profitability and customer value.
- Responsible for managing and responding to tenders, RFPs, RFQs and contracts to ensure the highest quality responses are provided with deadlines.
- Support deals through the sales life cycle and internal approval processes while partnering with the appropriate cross-functional teams.
- Supporting sales on the contract and quotation administration for enterprise clients and prospects
- Act as a client-facing subject matter expert on contract-related matters with the support of commercial leadership
- Lead projects aimed at improving commercial operational workflows.
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in commercial operations.
- Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions.
- Effectively prioritise and manage additional ad-hoc requests and responsibilities across a spectrum of complex business, strategic and contract issues.
The skills that you have:
- Proven track record of managing projects and driving initiatives to completion.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other financial modeling, and operational metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Strong understanding of commercial contract provisions and associated risks
- Successfully accomplish work with a high degree of independence, balancing competing priorities with short lead times
- Experience in the creation, negotiation, preparation, administration, and monitoring of technology-related agreements
- Skilled on SalesForce.com is a prerequisite
- Experience with DocuSign is preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial operations, business development, or a similar role within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interface with all levels.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional and tactful manner.
- Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work in a team environment and under general supervision.
