Business Development Manager - UKI Market - Vacation Rentals

We are looking for a B2B Business Development Manager to join our Vrbo team

This is a hybrid working role, and you will be expected to spend 50% of the working week at our Dublin offices.

What you'll do:
  1. Prospect for net new supply, with a focus on high demand areas to match traveler demand.
  2. Create and execute a territory plan to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring the attainment of set quarterly revenue targets.
  3. Develop a contact & call strategy to achieve and exceed targets.
  4. Daily outreach using a discovery, value pitch and compelling closing statements to gain commitment.
  5. Execute effectively against all targets, goals and strategic objectives set by leadership.
  6. Drive new partner education to maximise production potential at "Go-Live" and prepare them for handoff to an Account Manager.
  7. Become familiar with key demand and supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the Vacation Rental marketplace.
  8. Work hand in hand with the Account Managers and the Connectivity Account Managers to ensure we are providing the best service and receiving any net new listings.
Who you are:
  1. Fluency in English.
  2. Understanding of the UK/Irish & Middle East market regulation.
  3. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related professional experience.
  4. 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or OTA market management.
  5. Success in this role means bringing a robust ability to read and sell to any audience, the ambition to achieve and succeed, a strong work-ethic, and a competitive nature.
  6. Mastery of sales techniques including cold calling, objection handling, quarterly planning, pipeline management, sales forecasting.
  7. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  9. Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms.
  10. Knowledge of the accommodation and vacation rental industry is a plus.
  11. High impact personality: intellectual agility, entrepreneurship, compassion in relationship, great teammate.
  12. Hungry, determined, motivated, willing to take action and results-focused.
  13. Strategic, skilled in prospecting, and eager to find their own opportunities.
  14. Proven follow-up/persistence when facing challenging situations.
  15. Ability to multi-task effectively and be able to change gears quickly without skipping a beat.
