EHS Specialist

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global healthcare product manufacturer, a leader in the production of over-the-counter medicines? Our client, responsible for developing innovative products and maintaining a strong global presence, is recruiting an EHS Specialist to join their new project.
Responsibilities include:- Participate in safety reviews of processes and systems; advise on all EHS aspects during the handover from construction to commissioning, qualification, and operations.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Issue work permits.
- Review applications related to EHS.
- Assist in maintaining and continuously improving the company's environment, health, and safety policies, strategies, and management systems.
- Training and experience demonstrating a strong understanding of programs such as Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Working at Height, Hot Work, Mobile Equipment/Vehicles, Lifting Operations, High-Risk Contractor & Construction Work, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, and Emergency Response.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead a project from start to finish by managing a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in creating presentations and conducting training independently.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for diverse audiences.
