Senior Financial Controller - Relocating to Loughrea

Are you an experienced Senior Financial Controller with strong commercial contracting expertise? As Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, providing strategic insight, and partnering closely with senior leadership. You'll be part of a forward-thinking organisation known for delivering large-scale, complex projects that support critical national infrastructure and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the business
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to drive profitability and support decision-making
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, and balance sheet efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and governance requirements
  • Optimise finance processes and systems, including SAP
  • Provide strategic input on capital investment and commercial opportunities

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant with 8+ years post-qualification experience
  • Proven background as a Financial Controller in a commercial contracting environment (mandatory)
  • Experience in Engineering, Utilities, or Construction industries
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence at senior level
  • Experience with SAP (S4/Hana) desirable
  • 22 days annual leave + 10 bank holidays
