The Role

As a Senior Product Manager – Data Products, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering data-driven and AI-powered products that meet market demands and deliver exceptional value to our customers. Reporting to the Director of Data Products, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of innovative data products.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization and contribute to scaling and maturing our data product management processes while driving innovation and maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Director of Data Products to define and execute the vision, strategy and roadmap for data-driven and AI-powered products
  2. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitive landscapes to inform product development
  3. Translate customer and market insights into actionable product concepts, features and roadmaps
  4. Work collaboratively with product, engineering, data science, analytics and marketing teams to bring data products to market
  5. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement
  6. Prioritize product investments in alignment with business objectives and customer needs ensuring a balanced roadmap of initiatives
  7. Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and contribute to a product-centric culture
  8. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development
  9. Own product documentation and collateral including sales and pre-sales tools, support and end user documentation, with support from Data Product Owners
  10. Act as a mentor and collaborator within the Data organisation supporting the growth and development of team members
Requirements

Basic Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in product management with a focus on data and analytics product development
  2. Proven track record of delivering successful data-driven products in a fast-paced environment
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate product strategies to customers, senior leaders and colleagues
  5. Experience with Agile product development methodologies
  6. Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms
  7. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities effectively
  8. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or a related field
  9. Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel to visit customers and/or partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in IoT, telecommunications, automotive, or connectivity domains
  2. Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions
  3. Experience in creating and implementing data governance policies
