Job Title: Temporary Student Fees Administrator
Reporting to: Senior Credit Controller
Location: Griffith College Dublin
Job Type: Full-Time / Fixed term (24 weeks contract)
Job SummaryThe position involves supporting the Student Fees team with the collection and administration of student fees for the new academic year registration period.
Job Responsibilities- Assisting in the daily collection of income by phone (primarily) and email.
- Maintaining record of communications with students.
- Processing Sponsorship forms.
- Issuing receipts on a daily basis for bank transfers and cheques received.
- Taking payments over the phone on a virtual payment terminal.
- Advising students on the various methods of payment available to them.
- Responding to email enquiries.
- Assisting the Student Fees team with the administration of the Direct Debit scheme.
- Flexible and responsive to undertaking other tasks as required by the Student Fees team.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in administration.
- Degree or Diploma in a Business related field is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent organisational, time management and customer service skills.
- Capable of taking initiative and to work independently as appropriate.
- Experience of working in a fast paced customer focused environment.
- Effective communications and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (knowledge of Mail Merging an advantage).
