Accounts Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 1–3 years of experience who's eager to take the next step in their career. You'll work in a collaborative environment with exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and strong potential for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with monthly and year-end close (journals, accruals, prepayments)
- Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations (including client accounts)
- Maintain the fixed asset register and assist with management accounts
- Process AP/AR transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare/update cash flow schedules and support VAT/PAYE filings
- Assist with payroll and audit preparation
- Contribute to internal financial controls and reporting
- 1–3 years' experience in a finance/accounting support role
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach
