KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial closing
  1. Accountable for the quality of the financial information of dedicated branches;
  2. Preparation of contributors' pack (specific internal reporting to meet AXA France consolidation reporting requirement as part of AXA Group reporting or for internal purposes), and preparation of analytical review documentations, including commentaries on P&L and B/S;
  3. Preparing local reporting and various analysis requested by AXA France as part of BAU deliverables;
  4. Post entries directly into general ledger;
  5. Relationship with the central AXA France teams;
Data quality
  1. Perform account reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis;
  2. Produce documentation to audit and perform the current accounts justification, in relationship with IT and operations;
  3. Drive resolution of any issues to ensure accounts are reconciled and pass quality review and discuss reconciliation issues with the Regional Manager to ensure deadlines met;
Organizational
  1. Direct reporting line to the Controller in charge of the countries;
  2. Support local Controller and the Regional Controllers on delivering the BAU and producing ad-hoc information;
  3. Anticipate the calendar and organization in order to meet all accounting requirements and deadlines of AXA France / Group;
  4. Drive agreed transactional accounting process standardization and automations;
Transformation and simplification
  1. Drive resolution of any data issues impacting financial data with support of Regional Controller;
  2. Propose change and improvement in current process in order to optimize, industrialize and simplify;
Your ProfileSKILLS & EXPERIENCEEssential:
  1. Part Qualified Accountant;
  2. Industry accounting experience (desirable experience in insurance industry);
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting;
  4. Proficient with financial spreadsheet packages (e.g. Excel);
  5. Comfortable working with large volumes of data & manipulating data using excel formula, pivots;
  6. Experience with various ERP systems;
  7. Delivery oriented, rigor, autonomy, taste for numbers & a sense of organization;
  8. Natural curiosity, capacity to challenge, analyze and communicate in a clear and synthetized manner;
  9. Fluent in English;
  10. Valid European visa or working permit;
Desired:
  1. Knowledge of SAP Financials;

  1. Excellent planning and analytical skills with strong focus on attention to detail;
  2. Highly self-motivated and organized with attention to detail;
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills to adapt to the many interlocutors and be reactive in any situation;
  4. Ability to interact in an international environment, with various stakeholders (business, accounting, IT, ABS, Paris's teams…);
  5. Ability to work independently to meet aggressive targets;
  6. Team Player;
