Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Professional to join our team and support weekly and monthly accounts processing duties across diverse business units within our corporate structure.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified, driven and dynamic candidate to further develop their career in a globally focused environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong IT and reporting skills, as well as 2+ years of experience gained in an accounts, banking or financial administration focused role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for matching and processing invoicing, investigating variances and potential issues in accounts reports, resolving queries, ensuring the accurate submission of accounts payments, updating supplier account information, liaising with audit teams and assisting accountants with their monthly close processes and individual projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support weekly and monthly accounts processing duties
  • Match and process invoicing
  • Investigate variances and potential issues in accounts reports
  • Resolve queries
  • Ensure accurate submission of accounts payments
  • Update supplier account information
  • Liaise with audit teams
  • Assist accountants with their monthly close processes and individual projects

Requirements:

  • 3rd level degree ideally in business studies, accounting or another relevant discipline
  • An additional qualification - eg Accounting Technician - would be an advantage
  • 2+ years experience gained in an accounts, banking or financial administration focused role
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to engage with people at all levels of seniority
  • Strong IT and reporting skills
  • Own car and full/clean driving license ideally

Benefits:

This position is being offered as a permanent role with a competitive salary package and career progression opportunities. The role will be a hybrid position with 3 days office based and 2 days from home/remote however the initial training/onboarding period will be fully in office.
