What's the Opportunity?

To join one of Ireland's leading HR service providers, known in the industry for their commitment to employee growth and progression. Due to continued expansion, they are hiring a Business Development Manager to expand their portfolio of SME clients in Connaught (Sligo and Mayo).

This is a field-based role, and you need to be located in Sligo or Mayo to be considered.

Sounds great, what will I be doing and who is my target market?

  1. Targeting Small and Medium businesses, you will speak with business owners to understand their current approach to HR management.
  2. Self-generating your own leads from a range of sources including networking, social media, word of mouth, and more.
  3. Negotiating and closing deals with business owners; you will manage the entire sales cycle.
  4. This is a field-based role, so you will be comfortable working autonomously and on your own initiative.

So what do you need from me in terms of experience?

  1. Minimum of three years in a B2B sales role with full responsibility for generating leads and closing your own deals.
  2. Strong understanding of the Irish SMB landscape within your designated territory.
  3. Proven experience in a full sales cycle role with examples of exceeding revenue targets.
