Head of Operational Excellence & Agile Coach
At Sandvik's Mining business area, we're on a digital transformation journey-and we're looking for a visionary leader to help guide the way. If you're passionate about agile and product centric ways of working, thrive on empowering teams, and want to shape how we deliver value across a global organization, this is your opportunity.
Some words about us
We're a global leader in mining and rock excavation, offering equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions that drive productivity and sustainability in the mining and infrastructure industries. With innovation at our core, we're building a future where digital capabilities and agile thinking are key to our success. Join us and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking culture where your ideas matter and your impact is global.
About your job
In this role, you lead and accelerate our agile transformation at Mining at Sandvik. This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving product-centric and agile ways of working across our digital and business teams. You're responsible for developing and embedding agile practices, coaching teams and leaders, and shaping the agile operating model that supports our transformation goals.
You work closely with senior stakeholders to align agile delivery with strategic objectives and guide teams through change with empathy and clarity. Your remit includes building internal agile capabilities, leading communities of practice, and fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. This is a role built on influence, not authority-success comes from trust, shared purpose, and strong partnerships across the organization.
You're based in one of our key locations-such as Stockholm, Tampere, or Dublin-and you report to the Director of Transformation and Digital Enablement. You'll work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to collaborate across borders and time zones.
Your profile
You're a seasoned transformation leader with deep expertise in agile frameworks, a strong track record of coaching teams and senior stakeholders, and a passion for driving cultural change and continuous improvement. With strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and global experience in complex organizations, you're ready to shape how we work and deliver value at scale.
You're a natural leader who inspires growth and fosters a learning culture. You communicate with clarity, coach with empathy, and lead with purpose. You're strategic yet hands-on, resilient in the face of change, and always looking for ways to improve. You believe in empowering teams, building strong relationships, and creating environments where people thrive.
Our culture
At Sandvik, we're tech driven, innovative and entrepreneurial. We believe that success is a team effort so we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where people can be themselves and reach their full potential. So, we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our differences. Visit our stories hub , LinkedIn or Facebook to get to know us further.
