Business Development Manager - Legal
Dublin 2 | Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week| PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Managerto join a leading law firm based in Dublin 2. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic growth initiatives within a fast-paced, client-focused, and internationally oriented environment.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take the lead in developing and delivering targeted business development and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the profile of the corporate practice, supporting client acquisition, and strengthening market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the business development and marketing components of the department's strategic plan
  • Lead initiatives to raise the profile of the Corporate and M&A team, working collaboratively with the wider marketing function
  • Manage legal directory submissions and oversee departmental rankings
  • Support the preparation of client proposals, pitches, and responses to RFPs
  • Carry out in-depth market, sector, and client research to inform BD planning
  • Continuously review and enhance the department's marketing collateral, including capability statements, deal lists, and web content
Skills & Experience Required
  • A degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years' experience in a business development or marketing role within a professional services environment
  • Proven experience leading BD initiatives for a practice area, service line or sector group
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop compelling marketing content
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
  • Strategic mindset with sound judgement and the ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
