Product Operations Engineer

Job Summary

The Red Hat Customer Experience and Engagement team is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join us in Waterford/Brno. In this role, you will be a key partner to our enterprise customers, helping them resolve complex technical issues. You will use your analytical skills to investigate and solve problems, identify trends in customer feedback, and collaborate with engineering teams to help guide the future of our products. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on customer success and contribute to the quality of Red Hat\'s offerings.

What You Will Do

• Analyze customer data to identify trends and help guide the product roadmap
• Develop comprehensive and reusable self-service solutions to proactively address customer issues
• Troubleshoot and deconstruct complex technical issues, collaborating with peers to create simple, effective customer solutions
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to prioritize customer issues based on your analysis and feedback
• Evaluate upstream development to understand its impact on customer-reported product defects
• Contribute to and promote best practices for developing sustainable, long-term technical solutions

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience as a support, sustaining, or development engineer in an enterprise environment
• Practical experience with Python, SQL, Kubernetes, and containers
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools like Git and GitHub
• Excellent troubleshooting mindset and creative problem-solving skills
• Motivated self-learner with an ability to adapt, contribute, and collaborate effectively within a team
• Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for Red Hat customers

The Following Is Considered a Plus

• Familiarity with the Red Hat product portfolio, especially Red Hat Satellite
• Experience with data analysis tools like Tableau
