Overview

Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin, Ireland is a boutique and luxury hotel offering exceptional service in comfortable surroundings. The hotel is located 10 minutes from Dublin City Centre and 5 miles from Dublin Airport, in a tranquil setting near golf courses and the Irish Sea.

Clontarf Castle Hotel now wish to recruit an Experienced Receptionist to join our team.

Objective of the role: Reporting to the Team Leader, Asst. and/or Front Office Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy reception within hospitality and demonstrate a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
  • To anticipate guests' needs whenever possible and to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
  • To carry out all departmental tasks, duties and checklists as established in the Standard Operation and Performance Manuals.
  • To comply with all hotel policies, e.g. Cash Handling, GDPR, Billing/Credit Policies, etc.
  • To maintain good liaisons and communications with management and all other departments, particularly Accommodation.
  • To assist in actively and positively promoting sales within the department and maximise every sales opportunity.
  • Other duties as required.
The Person
  • 1 year of experience working at the Front Desk of a similar 4* or 5* hotel
  • Opera experience is desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Fluent English essential
