Position: Executive Assistant

Reporting to: Chief Information Officer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: 45,000 to 55,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role combines high-level executive support with coordination of CIO initiatives, ensuring effective communication, follow-through on decisions, and smooth day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner, enabling the CIO to focus on strategic priorities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  2. CIO Office Coordination and Governance

Executive & Administrative Support
  • Manage the CIO's calendar, correspondence, and communications with discretion and professionalism.
  • Prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and ensure timely follow-up of action items.
  • Draft and review CIO communications, ensuring clarity and alignment with priorities.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and external engagements.
CIO Office Coordination and Governance
  • Support the CIO in managing leadership meetings, governance forums, and key engagements.
  • Track initiatives and decisions, ensuring timely execution and accountability.
  • Prepare Executive, Committee and Board papers
  • Provide effective support and tracking of CIO governance forums and associated actions, decisions and reports.
  • Ensure smooth flow of information across the IT leadership team and with business partners.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a liaison between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Represent the CIO's office in meetings when required, ensuring follow-up and delivery.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams to support CIO priorities.
Hybrid & Digital Enablement
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across on-site and remote environments.
  • Leverage digital tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) to streamline operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant, or similar role supporting senior executives.
  • Skilled in managing correspondence, minutes, and follow-up with precision.
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and confident using modern collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with IT or digital environments an advantage.
