Job Title: Data Analyst – Commercial Insights

Reporting line: Commercial Analytics and Data Insights Manager

Role Overview: The Group Commercial team are seeking to onboard a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst – Commercial Insights to join our Commercial Analytics and Data Insights team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data storytelling, dashboard development and commercial performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering actionable insights through Power BI dashboard reporting, working closely with stakeholders across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support commercial decision-making.
  • Deliver commercial insights and reporting at a group level, ensuring alignment across all regions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Assist in the development of automated reporting processes.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and deep dives to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the cross-functional taskforce focused on aligning KPIs across regions, contributing to consistency and comparability of commercial performance metrics.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analyst role, ideally within the retail and/or FMCG industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and its components (e.g. DAX, Power Query) essential.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data modelling.
  • Knowledge of SQL, or Python is a plus.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective data visualisations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded individual, with a strong understanding of how data and insights drive business performance and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to non-technical audience.
  • Curious mindset with a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines and strong ownership of tasks.
