Our client, a well-established and fast-growing company supplying a wide range of products to hardware/DIY stores, co-ops, paint stores, wholesalers, cash & carries, and locksmiths across the region. With a portfolio of trusted, high-quality brands – they have built a strong reputation for product excellence and customer service.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to manage and grow an existing customer base in an established territory.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within the territory
  • Promote our full range of products and brands to existing and prospective clients
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and buying groups at all levels
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
The Person
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in direct field sales, ideally in the Hardware, DIY or Merchant trades
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach to sales
  • Confident negotiator with experience engaging at a senior level
  • A team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
  • Full clean driving licence
