St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team in a Values led Organisation.

We are looking for two Medical Secretary Grade IV positions.
Permanent contracts available for 35 hours per week (Blanchardstown/Raheny) and part-time option (24 hours per week) handling Outpatient & Day Service (14 hrs) and Social Work & Bereavement Service (10 hrs) (Blanchardstown/Raheny).

Responsibilities / Roles
  • Provide administrative support within the healthcare setting as a Medical Secretary Grade IV.
  • Support outpatient and other service areas as allocated.
Essential Requirements
  • Have four years experience in an Administration role in a healthcare setting.
  • Be educated to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
  • Be fully competent in MS Office suite and other relevant packages.
  • Experience in Patient/Client Administration Systems.
  • Have undertaken an Office Administration/Secretarial Course or other relevant course.
  • Full clean driving license
Additional Note
  • Experience in an outpatient/GP setting is desirable for the 24-hour post as listed.
