Overview

Join to apply for the Hotel Front Office Receptionist role at Byrne Hotel Group.

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Front Office Receptionist to join our dedicated Front Office Team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager and relevant Supervisor, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to guests upon check in and check out and upselling / advising guests where appropriate. The successful candidate will be passionate and enjoy working in a fun and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handles all guest reservations via phone and email in an efficient manner in accordance with company standards
  • Experience of dealing with group bookings from enquiry to arrival
  • Proactive upselling of all outlets within the hotel
  • Be initiative-taking with the ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion and possess strong attention to detail
  • Attends daily communication meetings to inform all teams of arrivals, revenue stats and selling rates
What You Need (Qualifications)
  • Experience working as part of a reception team in a 3 star or higher hotel
  • Previous experience working with Opera Cloud an advantage
  • Good organisation and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and a team player
  • High level of professional English; other languages a plus
  • Professional smart appearance
  • Positive, outgoing attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests experience
