Legal PA – Technology Role

Link Personnel have been instructed by our Client, a Top Tier Law Firm, to hire a Legal PA to support their market-leading Technology Team. Working alongside two existing PAs, the successful candidate will report directly to two partners and will also support several associates in their roles. The Technology team advises on all aspects of contract, data protection, intellectual property and technology law. Made up of four partners and eleven other fee earners, the team has a technology-focussed approach and works on a mostly paperless basis.

Salary: to €50K

The Role:

  • Managing emails, calendars and contacts.
  • Diary and travel management.
  • Taking ownership of billing processes.
  • Producing, editing and formatting high-quality documents – often including complex documents such as contracts, tenders, etc.
  • Assisting with matter opening requirements (such as client ID, letter of engagement, etc).
  • Accurately managing e-filing for our paperless Technology team.
  • Assisting with research and preparation for meetings and business development activities.
  • General administration.

The Candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years' prior experience as a Legal PA/Secretary supporting senior staff.
  • Experience of proactively managing mailbox of senior staff.
  • Experience of managing competing priorities.
  • Team focus and willingness and flexibility to work with others.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with document management and billing systems.
  • Experience booking travel, meetings and accommodation.
  • Experience of calendar and diary management.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality at all times.
