
Account Development Executive

Location: Dublin 10, Ireland
Britvic Ireland – part of the Carlsberg Group, is seeking to develop and grow distribution, revenue, volume and trading contribution (profit) of the Britvic brand portfolio within all outlets in the territory. You will work with wholesale partners indirectly through account development, consultative selling, customer relationship management, product availability and distribution. You will cover all Away From Home outlets in your territory including On Trade, Hospitality, Foodservice, Leisure and Workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow distribution, revenue, volume, trading contribution and market share by brand, channel and pack in line with or above target
- Improve product availability for the full Britvic soft drink range, including Pepsi, 7up, Club, Ballygowan, MiWadi, Cidona, London Essence Premium mixers and Teisseire in On Trade, Hospitality, Foodservice and Workplace outlets
- Deliver the quarterly sales targets of Aqua Libra Taps, Soft Drinks Dispense units and Ballygowan Water Coolers in the territory to Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Foodservice, Workplace and Leisure customers
- Organize and attend monthly meetings with RTM team, KAM, NAM and wholesalers within the territory, communicating quarterly promotional activities and ensuring compliance with Joint Business Plans (JBP)
- Engage in consultative selling with customers and potential customers, seeking new business opportunities for high-volume soft drink outlets
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaison with Telesales and Customer Care staff to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ensure high standard of in-outlet execution aligned to Picture Of Success (PICOS) and Perfect Store
- Deliver and prepare customer presentations to key customers
- Utilise IT systems and tools for full outlet reporting to enable quicker and better business decisions
- Manage all costs within the territory including negotiated discounts or promotional stock to deliver the company budget
- Adhere to Operational Standards including reporting of territory, CRM usage, and management of call frequency and call files to maximise delivery efficiency and effective outlet reporting

Requirements
- Three years plus knowledge of beverage industry, products, channels and competition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Proven negotiation skills

- High computer literacy
- Teamwork
- Desirable Experience: Sales experience in HORECA / On Trade field sales role or similar
Education/Qualifications
- Substantial (3 years +) sales experience in FMCG environment
- Full clean driving license is essential
- Third level qualification in Business or relevant discipline is desirable
- Leaving certificate level or equivalent may be sufficient depending on experience
