As part of Saint John of God Hospitaller Group, it supportsapproximately8,000 children and adults annually with over 3,000 staff and volunteers. About the role Saint John of God Community Services are now inviting applications for the post ofGrade V - Finance Assistant based in our Head Office in Stillorgan, Co Dublin. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within a busy finance department and gain significant exposure to senior decision makers within the organisation. The following is intended for the guidance of the person assigned to the post but is not an exhaustive listing of the duties associated with the post: Support the production of monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations. Lead Accounts Payable and Receivable administration. Process payments and bank transfers. Assist with weekly and monthly payroll. Support organisation wide projects where the need arises. Prepare budgets and forecasts. Provide support to other departments. Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Finance Policies The Candidate Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Accounting experience a strong advantage Working knowledge of accounts payable and payroll processes is desirable Familiar with banking and payment platforms Team Player with strong attention to detail Location The initial location of this role isStillorgan, Co Dublin, the post will be considered for inclusion in a blended working model at a later date. However, youmay be required, from time to time, to work at other SJOG CSs locations. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
