Role purpose 

As the Recruitment Associate for the Waystone Technology solutions pvt ltd business, you will act as the key resource in the attraction and recruitment of high calibre talent in an increasingly competitive market, for India.

It’s a highly proactive role where you’ll need to develop and maintain strong candidate and business relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to deliver on a holistic talent approach which includes serving the business and our employees with solutions around talent attraction and management to provide a superior candidate and hiring manager experience. We would look to this role to create and own our Employee Value Proposition and contribute to the overarching People Strategy with major focus on IT talent.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Leads innovation when applying professional talent principles, concepts, theories, and technologies to a wide range of talent solutions to ensure effectiveness.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to lead and drive our employee experience strategy.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion 
  • Develop and implement Talent Acquisition vision and strategies, in response to evolving market conditions and trends.
  • Being a key contributor to the wider HR team, working to develop people strategies that ensure that we attract, engage, enable, and retain our employees.

Operational Management

  • Responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding top-quality candidates. 
  • Preparing and placing effective advertisements, ensuring they encourage diversity of applications. 
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers. 
  • Partnering with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process from the initial briefing to the on-boarding of new employees, ensuring a fair and consistent process and with Inclusion & Diversity infused throughout.
  • Build strong interpersonal relations with hiring managers, key department heads, and the HR team to guide and drive the recruitment process.
  • Maintain excellent business relationships with hiring managers, candidates, universities, and the community as well as cultivates candidates’ networks.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources, and networking to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  • Review the suitability of recruitment and selection tools and approach, evaluating hiring manager and candidate feedback and industry best practice, to look to continuously improve our processes and update materials as required.
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment data, understand trends, and report progress to help drive people action plans.
  • Direct the development, management, and maintenance of role profiles to ensure that the elements achieve expected results.
  • The position is responsible for providing routine updates on information such as open positions, time to fill, expenses, etc.
  • Collaborate with HR and oversee all new hires processing (pre-employment screening, coordination with HR, sharing benefits information)
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities.

  • Communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Experience of 8+ years in IT hiring 
  • We are looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter who can work both independently using their initiative and collaboratively with other colleagues. 
  • Enjoy working with people and can interact with stakeholders and external bodies in a professional manner.
  • The right candidate will be organised, delivery focused, detail-orientated and as such will always deliver accurate work within an agreed time frame.
  • Proven Talent Acquisition experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of talent management practices.
  • Excellent, interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills across diverse businesses, cultures, and levels of leadership
  • Knowledge of digital talent solutions and comfortableness with how to leverage technology to drive talent success.
  • Ideally have experience working in a global organisation (advantageous but not essential)
