Infrastructure Architect Job Description: Our client requires an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design and optimise data centre and server solutions design for 2025. This is a 6-month contract role based in Dublin. Job Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to data centre and server requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and provide architectural guidance. Lead the implementation of server and data centre upgrades or migrations. Assess and ensure the integration of security best practices within infrastructure designs. Maintain documentation of architectural frameworks, including diagrams and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in complex environments. Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability. Engage with third-party vendors to oversee deployment and ensure alignment with project goals. Experience Required: Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years specialising in architecture. Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale data centre and server environments. Strong background in server virtualisation, storage solutions, and networking. Experience with hybrid environments combining on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools. Proficiency in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Professional certifications such as TOGAF, VMware VCP, or similar are advantageous.
