Role Title: Sustainability Reporting Manager Role Location: Dublin Company: Vhi A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for a Sustainability Reporting Manager. The person will be responsible for managing Vhis overall ESG sustainability reporting and disclosure programme of work in line with relevant frameworks and regulations and for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of ESG data and performance metrics. Benefits: Hybrid working opportunities Health Insurance Performance related pay Company pension And many more Role Purpose Build and lead Vhis ESG reporting team to support all ESG reporting Design, develop and implement ESG Reporting within Finance, develop standardised policies and processes across the Vhi Group relating to ESG reporting (e.g. KPI definitions, disclosure controls and procedures, reporting timelines, data collection methods etc.) Collect, analyse and interpret ESG data, metrics and KPIs to generate comprehensive reports, presentations and disclosures for both internal and external stakeholders. Lead the coordination of the wider business input into the annual sustainability reporting process and manage the development of sustainability disclosures for inclusion in Vhis Annual Report. Support environmental disclosure assurance in collaboration with Internal Audit and third party auditors. Provide advice to the Group on such topics as GHG accounting, circular waste accounting, and other mandatory and voluntary sustainability accounting requirements Work closely with Group Analytics and Insight Teams to ensure robust sustainability data management and insights are available to inform decision making. Continuously work on streamlining ESG reporting via relevant system solutions. Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulations and reporting frameworks to continuously improve and evolve the organisations ESG reporting and disclosure practices. Monitor competitor sustainability reporting in order to enable continued benchmarking of Vhis performance in sustainability. Other ad hoc finance project work as required. Education & Experience Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 5+ year PQE. Required: 2-3 years experience in Sustainability Reporting Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values Note: This role profile does not set out to capture every task to be carried out by the role holder but instead provide an overview of the main responsibilities of the job. It can be amended from time to time with reasonable notice to the role holder. Skills and Abilities Technical: Ability to demonstrate broad knowledge of Irish GAAP reporting requirements. Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with ESG rating methodologies, benchmarking and industry-specific ESG issues. Excellent project management skills, to handle multiple reporting initiatives, meet deadlines, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Interpersonal: Strong communications skills, ability to act as sustainability champion internally and externally. Good leadership and change management skills, ability to orchestrate work of cross-functional teams. Self-starter with an appetite to embrace new challenges that arise.
