Description Reporting to the Direct Mail Lead, the Direct Mail Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving An Post's direct mail strategy, ensuring our products not only enhance commercial volume but also deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role involves the development and delivery of innovative, customer-centric product plans that align with the strategic direction of the Mails and Parcels business. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the end-to-end process of direct mail (DM) products, from product development to customer engagement, ensuring that our offerings meet and exceed market expectations. Responsibilities The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following: Handle customer orders through our online portal, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment, and addressing any customer inquiries or issues promptly and professionally Present to prospective customers to show them the efficacy of DM, the range of tailored solutions available and how easily DM can be added to a business media mix Collect and analyse customer feedback to continually enhance product offerings and improve overall customer satisfaction Collaborate with the Direct Mail Lead to develop and implement product marketing strategies that align with the Mails and Parcels business objectives Collaborate with internal and external teams, including IT, UX/UI, and operations, sales, marketing, and customer service to optimize the online ordering experience, promoting DM products and ensuring that customer inquiries are efficiently converted into sales Liaise with key suppliers (printers, data providers, etc.) and internal teams, providing training and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage the development and rollout of new products or product changes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives Deliver integrated product plans that maximize product potential and achieve market share and profit targets and report on same throughout the year Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification in business, marketing, or a related field. They will have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in product marketing, customer engagement, and order fulfilment. They should have experience maintaining customer relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role might appeal to someone with an agency background. A demonstrable ability to deliver on commercial objectives and manage a diverse portfolio of products will also be important for this role.
