Job Title & Grade Occupational Therapy Assistant WTE 1.0 Location of Post The Royal Hospital Donnybrook Details of Hospital The Royal Hospital Donnybrook provides Sub-Acute, Stroke, General Rehabilitation, Respite and Continuing Care services to adults along with a busy Day Hospital. The Hospital is an independent, voluntary, charitable organization. Services are provided on a not-for profit basis. Excellent inter-disciplinary working is evident across all teams in the hospital together with a strong patient cantered ethos. The successful candidate will join the Occupational Therapy Department in providing services to patients across the hospital. Excellent multidisciplinary working is evident across all teams in the hospital together with a strong patient centred ethos. Applicants for the Occupational Therapy Assistant position will be required to have: QQI level 5 qualification as an OT Assistant or Healthcare Assistant. Experience of working in a caring profession. Experience of communicating with people who have a disability and communication difficulties. Ability to work as part of a team and be reliable.
