My client is currently recruiting for a Head of IT to join the team on a permanent basis. The Head of IT will lead digital transformation, driving innovation and optimizing technology to support organizational growth. This role is crucial for guiding the organization towards a tech-driven and innovative future. Key responsibilities include advancing cloud platforms, strengthening cybersecurity, and leveraging data analytics for strategic decision-making. With oversight of IT teams across Ireland and the UK, this role fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals and support rapid growth. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Head of IT will work closely with senior leadership to integrate technology across all aspects of the business, building a secure, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure. Job Responsibilities Drive technology advancements to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability. Identify and implement innovative solutions to stay ahead in the industry. Develop and lead the execution of a strategic IT roadmap focused on digital transformation. Spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge tools like AI, machine learning, and data analytics to support growth and optimize performance. Collaborate with leadership to position technology as a key enabler of long-term success. Ensure robust IT infrastructure with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. Oversee the implementation of scalable, cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Leverage data analytics to deliver actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making. Foster an organizational culture centered around data-driven strategies. Cultivate a dynamic, results-oriented IT team that thrives on collaboration and innovation. Support the professional growth of team members and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Manage the IT budget with a focus on maximizing return on investment and resource efficiency. Work closely with business units to ensure IT solutions meet evolving needs and drive productivity. Act as a key conduit between technology initiatives and overarching business goals. Experience Required Proven track record in leading large-scale technology adoption and digital transformation within multi-site organizations. In-depth knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, including the deployment and optimization of Microsoft 365 tools. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and advanced data analytics. Strong expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity risk management, and compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. Significant experience in managing IT budgets, optimizing resources, and negotiating vendor agreements to achieve cost-efficient technology solutions. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, aligning IT strategies with overall business objectives. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment between technology initiatives and business goals. Proven experience in leading and mentoring diverse IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Solid knowledge of infrastructure development, ensuring scalability and resilience for business continuity. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making. Essential and Desirable Skills Proven track record in leading large-scale technology adoption and digital transformation within multi-site organizations. In-depth knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, including the deployment and optimization of Microsoft 365 tools.
