Job Title:Accounts Assistant Location: Rathcoole, Dublin Summary: HireForce are working with a leading supplier of pipeline products that service the Mechanical, Fire protection, Domestic, Commercial and Building Services markets in Ireland who are looking to fill the role of an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall efficiency of the Finance department. Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable: Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices as needed. Monitor overdue accounts and follow up to ensure timely collections. Reconcile cash receipts and accounts, investigating and allocating payments. Prepare month-end reports and process refunds as required. Respond to customer queries to ensure invoices are paid promptly. Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to suppliers. Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies. Record Keeping: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation of VAT and payroll returns and ensure timely submission. Support for Audits: Assist in audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports as and when it is required. Requirements: 3 years of experience in a similar role; experience in accounts receivable is considered desirable. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required.
