Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Salary: €70,000 €80,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take the lead on electrical design delivery across a diverse range of projects, from building services installations to medium voltage (MV) networks. Responsibilities: Deliver complete electrical design solutions on projects of varying scale, including MV distribution. Ensure all design output complies with relevant codes, standards, and best practice. Take ownership of project budgets, financial performance, and cost efficiency. Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development to junior staff. Attend client meetings, design workshops, and site visits as required. Oversee project delivery with a focus on project management, quality assurance, and technical review. Requirements: Irish Experience in the industry. Minimum 5 years experience in a senior electrical engineering role. Degree-qualified (BSc/BEng) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. Chartered or progressing towards chartership preferred . Proven track record in designing and specifying systems across commercial, healthcare, residential, and other building types. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in design tools such as Dialux, Amtech (Trimble), ETAP, Eracs, CDEGS, plus MS Office. Excellent knowledge of BS standards and Irish Health & Safety regulations. Full clean Irish driving licence. Eligible to work in Ireland with fluent English. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines. Previous experience in consultancy or contracting highly desirable.
