A well-respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking aSenior Electrical Design Engineerto join theirDublin office.The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of electrical building services across a range of sectors, including commercial developments, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of electrical systems for medium to large-scale building projects from concept through to handover. Oversee the preparation of specifications, drawings, reports, and schedules in compliance with current standards and regulations. Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and sustainability teams to deliver fully integrated solutions. Manage workloads, delegate tasks, and mentor junior and intermediate engineers within the team. Attend client, design, and site meetings, providing clear technical guidance throughout all project stages. Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and health and safety standards are met across all design outputs. Contribute to fee proposals, resource planning, and the delivery of projects within scope and budget. Candidate Requirements Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 6 years experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment. Strong working knowledge of current Irish building regulations, IS standards, and CIBSE best practices. Proficient in using Revit and electrical design software such as Dialux, Relux, and Amtech. Demonstrated experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders. Chartered or actively working toward chartership (Engineers Ireland or equivalent). Strong communication and team leadership skills. Whats on Offer €65K €75K Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
